Platform · BuiltLedger

BuiltLedger. The single source of truth for every building you own.

Energy performance analytics, equipment lifecycle, incentive matching, energy procurement, and compliance reporting in one platform. Built on real utility data and a physics model of your actual building.

Performance first

Know what your building should be doing. Then close the gap.

Every building gets a calibrated model: EnergyPlus physics with AI surrogates for speed, tuned against your real meter data. That model answers the questions that matter. Where is the waste. Which upgrade moves the number. What does the retrofit return, after incentives, in your jurisdiction.

What's inside

Six modules. One login.

Energy performance analytics

Portfolio dashboards with EUI, ENERGY STAR score, and cost trends per building. Anomalies flagged before they hit the bill.

Digital twin access

Your building in 3D, live. Walk stakeholders through the model itself. Twin viewer embedded right in the dashboard.

Equipment lifecycle

Every chiller, RTU, and boiler inventoried with age, condition, and remaining useful life. Replacements get planned from data, ahead of failure.

How we build the inventory

Incentive finder

Matches your buildings and planned projects against local, state, and federal programs automatically. Money you qualify for, surfaced before you commit capital.

Scenario modeling

Price a retrofit before you buy it. Solar, storage, electrification, envelope. Modeled against your building's physics and your utility tariff.

Compliance, handled

ENERGY STAR benchmarking sync, BEPS reporting, and verification workflows run in the background. When the filing deadline comes, the data is already there.

Equipment inventory

Every asset in the record, one piece at a time.

Each chiller, rooftop unit, water heater, and in-unit appliance gets its own BuiltLedger record, with a photo of that exact piece, its location down to the room, and its age.

01

Desk baseline first.

Before anyone visits, we build a per-unit baseline from floor plans and existing virtual tours. For a four-building Virginia community that came to 5,702 records, ready to confirm on the walk-through.

02

Nameplates on site.

A walk-through captures every nameplate on video and in photos. At one Maryland multifamily community, we logged 369 pieces of equipment in a single site day.

03

A label on every asset.

Each piece gets a label tied to its record, so the next technician finds the same asset in the same place.

04

Age and remaining life.

Serial numbers decode to a manufacture date, and ASHRAE service-life data turns that into an end-of-life year with a confidence score. Every record gets a human review.

Capital planners get a replacement schedule built from the equipment that's actually in the building, and every record links back to the photo it came from.

Energy procurement

Buy supply at the right time, at the right price.

Comparing third-party supply offers means understanding retail choice, your utility's Price-to-Compare, and where the forward market is heading. Most owners have no time for that. BuiltLedger synthesizes the supply options, validates the terms and product structures behind each offer, and prices them against the load your buildings actually have.

  • Competing third-party offers scored on one consistent rubric
  • Terms and product structures checked line by line
  • Every offer priced against your utility's Price-to-Compare
  • Timing informed by market trend and forward curve data
  • Electricity and natural gas, in the states where we hold a broker license
For capital planners

Cut 60–80% of engineering assessment spend per building.

Traditional audits cost $5K to $30K per building and age the day they are filed. BuiltLedger keeps a living model instead, so every capital question starts from data you already have. Owners redirect study budgets into actual retrofits.

  • Living model replaces one-off audits that decay on the shelf
  • Every retrofit question starts from data you already own
  • Incentives matched before capital is committed
  • Study budgets redirected into projects that pay back

“ThresholdStack assisted us with Montgomery County energy benchmarking and then gave us a full view of all our building data, so we could make an informed decision about where to focus our attention on our net-zero journey.”
